Join My Journey: Moving from London to Antalya

Assalamu-’alaykum, hello and welcome to Moving to Türkiye!
My name is Hanif, and this is my vlog about my family's migration from London to Antalya in Turkey - or “Türkiye” to give the country its proper name.
Insha-Allah (God willing) we're hoping to make the move in the next few months, and the purpose behind this vlog is to support, inform, and perhaps even inspire some of you who might have similar dreams.
I was planning to do this after we moved, but a few people have asked me to start now, just so we capture the highs and lows leading up to a move abroad and all the other challenges, so here we are.
In addition to explaining why we're moving and giving regular updates about our journey, I'm planning to also create some informative videos about topics such as:
Getting residency or citizenship in Turkey
The Turkish education system
Their health system
Cost of living
Working and doing business there
Buying property & investment opportunities
Things to do in Antalya
Islamic life in Antalya
Turkish food, language, culture...
The Turkish economy
…and some other stuff too, I'm sure.
I'm not an expert in these areas, but I'll share what I've learnt so far and anything else I learn as I go along.
If there are any other topics you're interested in that I haven't covered specifically, let me know.
I'll also try to record conversations with some wonderful people I've met who have made the leap already.
